M2 50. Cal Rack with Barrel Holders (M2R/BH)

The M2 Rack is a compact all steel and unique secure storage system designed specifically for M2 .50 Cal light machine guns. It is manufactured to accommodate four M2 guns and eight barrels all under lock and key with padlocks (padlocks not included).

The M2 guns are locked and unlocked simultaneously by an all steel heavy gauge cylindrical security bar that simply slides through all four guns. Once the 'security locking bar' is unlocked and removed it is placed on two hooks that form a cradle to support the actual bar. In this manner access to the weapons is unimpaired for the weapons storage officer.

To secure one or all four M2's simply slide the bar back into it's original position and lock. The actual end of the gun is slotted in to a heavy gage steel 'block' ensuring that the weapon remains stored vertically without any lateral movement.

The eight barrels are stored separately in the same rack in two groups of four each group of four is separately locked via a hinged steel plate. In the same manner as the gun the end of the barrel is securely housed vertically with the barrel end slotted into a steel heavy duty 'block'.

This rack is installed in land based as well as shipboard armouries. It can be installed onto mobile carriages for 'high density storage' requirements in conjunction with all I.W.S.P. (Integrated Weapons Storage Platform) Solutions.

All four M2 guns are locked and unlocked simultaneously with an all steel cylindrical locking bar that slides through the lock paddles. Once the locking bar as been removed there is easy access to the guns as the locking bar is stored on two hooks in the inner top portion of the rack.	Optional 4 capacity Barrel Support attaches to the top of the M2 rack. Adjustable in width and easily installed.
